What is SoL?
SoL, The Society for Organizational Learning, was founded in April of 1997 as the successor to MIT's Center for Organizational Learning (OLC).
Guiding Principles of SoL
- Drive to Learn - All human beings are born with an innate, lifelong desire and ability to learn, which should be enhanced by all organizations.
- Learning is Social - People learn best from and with one another, and participation in learning communities is vital to their effectiveness, well-being and happiness in any work setting.
- Learning Communities - The capacities and accomplishments of organizations are inseparable from, and dependent on, the capacities of the learning communities which they foster.
- Aligning with Nature - It is essential that organizations evolve to be in greater harmony with human nature and with the natural world.

What is LE?
Learning Expedition is a learning journey to Tiimiakatemia. It is also a possibility for our guests to make new connections and learn more about coaching.
For what kind of people is it for?
It is for people who are interested of different kinds of learning methods, coaching, Finland , Tiimiakatemia.
History
Learning Expeditions have been organized since 2003. As a product LE has developed during the years. In the beginning the idea was simply to organize some programme to the foreign guests that were interested in Tiimiakatemia. In the beginning we showed the guests Tiimiakatemia (as a physical place), told them something about our learning methods and then organized some evening programme.
Different paths of learning
Nowadays we have different kinds of journeys for different kinds of people. For those who are not too familiar with Tiimiakatemia, but are interested of getting to know the basics, we recommend the basic LE. For those, who visit Tiimiakatemia for the second time we recommend a more theoretical LE, there we focus more on the practical learning tools and the theories behind our structures. Then, for those who want to apply Tiimiakatemia-methods in their countries, we have the programme in which we make the plan together with our guest. There we think for example: what are the possibilities in your country, organization and environment. What is Tiimiakatemia's role? Do you need for example some coaching or other help from us? In what scale do you want to start? Where does the funding come from? Who are your partners? What connections are important to you and your project?

4. Team Mastery – coaches' program for building a Learning organization

Team Mastery is award-winning Team Academy 's coach-the-coach -program. It's a forum for practical organizational development and opportunity to build networks through the Europe . During the program the participants co-experience the thrill of coaching and share knowledge on coaching practices. The 1,5-year long program consists of 18 contact days with contents on seven critical themes in coaching and building learning organizations.
Share The Passion
Nobody should try to practice one's own skills or organization alone. During Team Mastery you'll be part of international community where the passion to promote entrepreneurship in organizations is shared by all participants. The program includes lots of opportunities to network with other learners and time to share experiences on different kinds of coaching environments in European Union. Each contact session's location is different, so you'll have the possibility of seeing and feeling different kinds of coaching communities firsthand. Together development work is more effective, knowledge richer and more fun.

24 hours birthgiving
The 24 hours of birthgiving is the “final test” for the graduates. The main idea is that team companies solve real customer cases during one day and night. The cases can be from any field, for example marketing, HR or attracting more customers. After 24 hours of solving the case the team presents their results. The customer gives a grade and a feedback after receiving the solutions. This is one of the biggest events in Team Academy annually. The dates of the next 24 hours birthgivings are: 20.-21.11.2006, 27.-28.11.2006 and 12.-13.12.2006.
