In January 1993 24 brave student rose to the challenge when a marketing teacher, Timo Partanen proposed the challenge to learn in a new way. Traditions of learning and new revolutionary learning tools were harnessed to serve young enthusiastic people.

After their studies Round The World team did as they promised. Team learners earned enough money for the trip and they travelled around the world for seven weeks. They made their dreams come true and this dream has lived and developed In Team Academy during the past over ten years.
